Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers details changes arising from the Constitutional Reform Act - including the implications for judicial appointments and support for the judiciary itself - the altered relationship of the judiciary and the Department of Constitutional Affairs, and the new roles of the Lord Chief Justice and Lord Chancellor.
He identified new areas of concern and challenges for the future.
