The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Keith John Lindblom, Esq., Q.C., to be a Justice of the High Court with effect from 2 October 2010 on the retirement of Mr. Justice David Clarke.

The Lord Chief Justice will assign Mr. Lindblom to the Queen’s Bench Division.

Notes to editors

Mr. Lindblom, 53, was called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn in 1980 and took Silk in 1996. He was appointed a Recorder in 2001 and is approved to sit as a deputy High Court Judge.

Mr. Justice David Clarke was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1965 and took Silk in 1983. He was appointed a Recorder in 1981, a Circuit Judge in 1993 and a Senior Circuit Judge and Honorary Recorder of Liverpool in 1997. He was appointed a judge of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court in 2003.
