Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) judgment

The Upper Tribunal Immigration and Asylum Chamber has today published its decision in a guideline group of cases considering the application of the human rights exceptions to automatic deportation where the immigrant subject to the order has a British citizen wife and minor children. The decision examines discusses the relevant case law of the United Kingdom courts, the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
