Draft revised Concordat published for consultation
The UK HE sector working group has published a Draft Revised Concordat to Support
the Career Management of Researchers.
The Draft Concordat can be found
here

The RCUK and UUK would welcome comments, from sector groups, institutions, and
individuals, on the overall framework of the draft concordat, its intentions and
the details in each section. We welcome comments either directly in writing or at
one of the consultation events to be held on 5, 12 and 23 July 2007.
Some of the issues that you may wish to comment on are:
- Are all the elements of the
1996 Concordat
covered?
- Will it provide a framework for future progress?
- Will it be fit for purpose in 2014?
- Does it address the measures of success of the revised Concordat: the quantity,
quality and impact of researchers and their research?
- What will it change?
- Will it improve the quality of researchers for the UK?
- Does it address all the relevant issues of researchers, research managers,
research supporters, employers and funders?
- Will it ensure that researchers expectations and experience will be broadly
the same in any institution?
- Will the Concordat fit with HEI guidance?
- Are the relationships between stakeholders clear?
