Is the family justice system in need of review?

"As phrased there can, of course, be only one answer to the question posed as the title to this paper. No system is immune from the need for review. I have no doubt that there would be those both within and without who would say that Families Need Fathers is in need of review. The art is realistically to recognise both the weaknesses and the strengths of any institution: to build on the latter and to improve the former. Very few organisations are wholly good or wholly bad, and the family Justice System is no exception."
