Welcome Back to Parliament

Congratulation on being re-elected as an MP, we at IPSA look forward to working with you to ensure that we provide you with the financial support you need to continue with your parliamentary functions as smoothly.  Here is what you need to know.

What has changed?

Refresher Training

We are available for one to one system training sessions for you, a proxy or any other member of your staff in your House of Commons office or at our offices.

For the first time we are also bringing our training sessions to constituency staff across the UK; we will be delivering group sessions on using the expenses system and understanding the scheme rules, and we’ll address some of your questions and concerns.

Training is also available through the House of Commons learning and development website​ where you can find other useful courses for your staff.

As a result of helpful feedback received in the roadshows last year, we have created some guidance videos to answer some frequently asked questions. You can find them all on our YouTube channel​.

Account Management

In the past, we have told you about changes to our processes via our Bulletin, which many have found very useful, however we want to go a step further this term. We will be offering optional tailored advice to help your circumstances.

One of our MP support officers will be contacting you soon to arrange a short session, to provide personalised advice to help ensure you are making the best use of the options available.

Extended Telephone Opening Hours

We realise you have been engaged with other business and may have accumulated a backlog of expenses related matters during the Election period. So we have further extended the telephone opening hours to allow for more time to help you.

The MP support team will be available between 9am and 6pm for the rest of May, and will revert back to the normal hours of 10am-5pm on 1 June 2015.
