Guide for software developers
Guidance for software developers showing how to update their products to support automatic enrolment.
The Department for Work and Pensions has made recent technical changes to the legislation to the information requirements and the qualifying criteria for defined benefit (DB) schemes and to introduce four new exceptions from the duties. These changes take effect from 1 April 2015.
We are working to update the software guidance and accompanying test data companion with these changes.
In the meantime if your employer customers have more than 50 people in their PAYE scheme, the quick guide to the technical changes guide will tell you how the changes will affect the software you have already developed.
If you haven’t yet developed software for automatic enrolment, the software guidance and test companion below will still be helpful for you as you start to develop your product. The qualifying earnings thresholds and the earnings trigger for 2015-16 can be found in automatic enrolment earnings threshold.
Please check back here soon for the updated guidance.
