Three universities to receive £35 million for medical and engineering projects

King’s College London, the University of Glasgow and the University of Southampton have been awarded funding from the UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF) to develop medical and engineering projects. The projects will carry out research respectively into cancer, chronic disease, and maritime and structural engineering. The total value of the three projects is over £250 million.
