The bulletins are produced with input from: ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers), the College of Policing, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC), the Home Office, the Police Superintendents' Association of England and Wales and the Police Federation.

Each bulletin is made up of a series of short anonymised case studies, containing questions for policy makers/managers or police officers/staff which are designed to help the police service get to the heart of the learning arising from each case. Each case is also accompanied by a more detailed learning report.
