The Race Equality Foundation in partnership with the Department of Health, has organised a series of events aimed at individuals or organisations with an interest in the mental health and wellbeing of black and minority ethnic communities; including IAPT services
Evidence suggests that black and minority ethnic communities are disproportionately affected by poor mental health. They are also the least likely to access help for dealing with mental health issues. Help communities understand the benefit of “talking therapies”, of recognising the need to “talk” and what free treatment is available.
Get involved in the IAPT programme in your area, which looks to increase the involvement of all in using the power of “talking” to improve people’s emotional health and wellbeing.
Places are limited. To book, please visit http://raceequalityfoundation.eventbrite.co.uk
If you have any questions, please contact Farah: Farah@racefound.org.uk or call 0207 428 4880
