Update: further to this announcement, originally published on 12 October, please note that the event in Leeds has now been cancelled.
The NHS Future Forum is holding two listening events for patients and the public this month. They will be in Leeds on 20 October and London on 24 October – both will last from 12 to 3.00pm.
The Future Forum is asking questions on four important areas of health and care.
The Future Forum will base its advice to the Department of Health on what it hears during engagement and listening events, so attending one of these events or sending your views will help shape the Future Forum’s advice. It has set up a system for collecting and analysing feedback that will ensure every viewpoint is captured.
If you would like to take part in one of the events, give your views or want to find out more, please email: email@example.com
The deadline for comments on three of the topics – education and training of health and care professionals, information, and the role of the NHS in improving health and wellbeing – is 31 October 2011.
We need your views on the subject of joined up services by 18 November 2011.
