The deployment support team is available to provide an extensive range of support to NHS organisations. Practical examples of the services we offer include:

  • review of project readiness assessments and capacity planning
  • managing project issues
  • evaluating local support desk readiness and recommending best practice
  • assuring the planning and management of data migration
  • programme and project planning and management
  • cutover planning and management
  • providing guidance on statutory, operational and '18 Week Wait' reporting issues and solutions
  • reviewing N3 network capacity and, where appropriate, site infrastructure in readiness for new product deployment
  • providing technical support to local NHS IT to address connectivity issues between local product deployments and the NHS Care Records Service Spine
  • providing guidance to local NHS on national testing requirements for solutions connecting to the Spine
  • specialist guidance on commissioning and deployment testing and managing deployment verification
  • specialist guidance and support to NHS and suppliers to NHS and suppliers on preparing for and conducting early adopter and 'First of Type' testing
  • providing specialist support and guidance on deploying Choose and Book and Summary Care Record services
  • development of deployment models for 'First of Type' deployments including those from the national programmes
  • deployment resource profiles to plan and schedule appropriate roles to activities
