High Court Judge Appointment - BakerMonday, 18 March 2013
The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of His Honour Judge Jeremy Russell Baker., Q.C., to be a Justice of the High Court with effect from 25 March 2013 on the retirement of Mr. Justice Eady.
The Lord Chief Justice will assign Judge Jeremy Baker to the Queen’s Bench Division.

Judge Jeremy Baker, 55, was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1979 and took Silk in 1999. He was appointed a Recorder in 2000, a Circuit Judge in 2010 and is approved to sit as a deputy High Court Judge.
Mr. Justice Eady was called to the Bar by the Middle Temple in 1966 and took Silk in 1983. He was appointed a Recorder in 1986 and a judge of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court in 1997.
