The places where scientific procedures are carried out must have an establishment licence unless the nature of the work requires that it be carried out in other places, such as farms or fields. Certain types of animal must also be obtained from licensed breeding or supplying establishments.

Where to send completed forms
Completed application forms should be sent via the applicant's establishment's licence holder to the local office. Correspondence should be addressed to the Home Office and not a named official.
