Helping build a sustainable future

20 Mar 2012

The Technology Strategy Board are at Ecobuild 20-22 March at ExCel, London co-hosting The Innovation Zone alongside the Modern Built Environment KTN.

The zone is a showcase of some of the new and emerging technologies that will shape tomorrow's built environment and is a partnership between the Technology Strategy Board, the Modern Built Environment KTN, Marks & Spencer,  the UK Green Building Council, LimesNet, Smart DC SIG and the IOM3 Construction Materials Group.

Our technologists from the Low Impact Building Innovation Platform,  will be involved in a variety of programmes across the three day period, including being on the judging panel of a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style competition and taking part in the innovation awards ceremony on the last day. Scott Cain, our Future Cities technologist, will also be hosting a workshop to talk about how sustainable city living will be an increasingly important part of the global society.

At the Innovation Zone you will be invited to vote for your favourite innovation out of the 25 technologies showcased in the Zone and to talk to the companies responsible for these innovations.

Join the Technology Strategy Board at The Innovation Zone to find out more about what we are doing to drive the future of sustainable buildings or visit www.ecobuild.co.uk to find out more about Ecobuild.
