Dementia

About 750,000 people in the UK have dementia – and this number is expected to double in the next thirty years. The Government is committed to improving the care and experience of people with dementia and their carers by transforming dementia services to achieve better awareness, early diagnosis and high quality treatment at every stage and in every setting, with a greater focus on local delivery of quality outcomes and local accountability for achieving them.
