DWP Customer Charter

We aim to provide a high quality and efficient service to all our customers. The DWP Customer Charter sets out the standards you can expect from us and what your responsibilities are in return.

Jobcentre Plus

Helps people prepare for work and find appropriate employment and delivers working age benefits such as Jobseekers Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance.

The Pension Service

Provides pensioners and future customers with pensions, benefits and retirement information, for example: State Pension and Pension Credit.

Disability and Carers Service

Provides financial support for people claiming disability benefits and their carers, for example: Disability Living Allowance and Carer’s Allowance.

Child maintenance

The Department is responsible for the child maintenance system in Great Britain. It funds the Child Maintenance Options service, which provides free information and support on child maintenance and other issues parents face when they separate. DWP also delivers the statutory child maintenance schemes, currently managed by the Child Support Agency.
