Collaboration Nation

Each year the Technology Strategy Board hosts a series of Collaboration Nation events.

These events enable companies that have been successful in various TSB competitions for feasibility funding to showcase the results of their projects to their peers and others with a view to finding new partners to collaborate with and new sources of funding.

Collaboration Nation events aim to:

  • Provide a vibrant open innovation forum for the sharing of feasibility study outcomes
  • To connect new companies with a variety of solution providers to move new innovations to commercialisation rapidly and efficiently
  • Catalyse innovation by enabling small companies to bring ideas to market with a venture capitalist /business angel/ or through a new supply chain partner

This year (2012) we will be running collaboration nation events for the following competitions:

The events use a range of formats to bring the project companies and outcomes to the attention of potential partners and peers. One example is the project profile directory. These documents list the companies, projects and contact details making it as simple as possible for contact with the projects to be made.
