A summer like no other

There’s loads of fantastic free stuff going on in London as we get ready for the Games and a summer like no other. Next up is St George’s Day on 21 April, when Trafalgar Square will be transformed into an English country garden with live music, performances and more.

Young buskers wanted for Gigs

If you’re a young singer or musician aged 11-25 we want to hear from you. Gigs 2012 is going to be London’s biggest ever street music competition and we’re looking for entrants now to follow in the footsteps of Jamie West, Robbie Boyd and The Lorelles. Shortlisted performers will play our circuit of Gigs busking pitches in July and August, and have the chance to go through to the live Gigs grand final in September. There are some great prizes up for grabs too including a coveted TfL busking licence, studio time, training and music equipment.

Are you ready to make London your stage in 2012? Enter now at http://www.molpresents.com/gigs/

Help London look its best for the 2012 Games

Londoners are being urged to roll their sleeves up and help spruce up the city ahead of this summer’s London Olympic and Paralympic Games. From March to June, the P&G Capital Clean-Up will mobilise an army of volunteers to pick up litter, remove graffiti and spruce up some of London’s unloved public spaces.
