The social work sector is being asked to comment on proposals outlining an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

A paper agreed by the Social Work Reform Board (SWRB), and available on the websites of both the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) and Skills for Care (SfC), outlines proposals for implementing the programme.

It covers the development of assessment models with employers and managing the outcomes of the assessment. It also includes information relating to capability statements and support for NQSWs.

The SWRB would like to know what you think about the proposals by the deadline on November 7, 2011.
