Sheffield Pride 2010

A celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life in Sheffield

Sheffield Pride 2012 shall be taking place in Endcliffe Park on June 2nd - mark it in your diaries!

The Sheffield Pride Committee has doubled in size this year - so expect a bigger, busier and even more exciting event than 2011's!

The History of Sheffield Pride

In 2008 Sheffield hosted its first ever LBGT Pride event in the name of South Yorkshire Pride. A roaring success, it was hosted in Cemetery Park and saw several thousand attendees enjoying the sunshine and music.

We changed our name in 2009 to Sheffield Pride and the event was even more successful, with over 5,500 visitors enjoying the weather and performances by Electrovamp, Laura Steele and Scooch in the new venue of Encliffe Park.

Then in the following year, Sheffield Pride 2010 grew yet again, attracting 8000 people and an ever expanding selection of businesses, charities and community groups showing up to entertain and provide for the Sheffield Community.

2011 saw the attendance pass 10,000, with a huge host of local attractions a fantastic afterpart hosted by Climax! and Hallam University's HUBs.

A Big Thanks To Our Sponsors
