The Yorkshire Forwarded funded Regional Food Group (RFG) worked closely with Michael Taylor, operations manager at Barnsley based Fosters Bakery. They set up a Managed Online Learning Environment (MOLE) for more than 200 members of staff who are working towards NVQs 1,2 and 3 in food hygiene, health and safety and food quality.

Taylor says "we received a huge amount of help and support from the Regional Food Group in helping to establish additional systems and processes to support Fosters’ staff with their training requirements – a vital element of a successful business.”

Today the successful Regional Food Group (RFG) member sells over one million products a week, and has a turnover of £10million.
