National survey: cancer patients

A national survey of patients being treated in hospital for one of six types of cancer, looking at the quality of care provided by the NHS. The Survey was carried out in 2000/01 but referred to a period before publication of the Cancer Plan. The survey results offer a benchmark from which the implementation of the aims of the National Cancer Plan can be monitored. Responses help to shape and revise cancer services at national, network and local level.
