AQP map of services published on new AQP resource centre

As announced by the Secretary of State, from today, patients will be able to see on a new user-friendly and interactive map which local services will be available to them through ‘Any Qualified Provider’ from April 2012.  From hearing services to wheelchair providers, patients across the country will have a choice of who looks after them in at least three areas of clinical care.

The map is available to view on a new AQP resource centre on the NHS Supply2Health website. The website also features a range of materials to support AQP implementation, including frequently asked questions and service implementation packs that have been developed by the NHS with support from DH and a range of clinical and patient representative stakeholders to support commissioners.
