The Cabinet Office manages the UK honours system and is responsible for policy work in this area. We prepare for and deliver the Prime Minister's honours lists published at New Year and on the date of the Queen's official birthday in June.
The UK honours system is open to all. The exceptional achievements and service of people from a wide variety of backgrounds are recognised by awards.
The Cabinet Office also manages the Queen's Awards for Voluntary Service. These awards recognise outstanding achievements by voluntary groups in the community.
We organise and publish the list of winners in June every year.
