Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA)

IDeA is a government agency which works in partnership with all UK councils to enhance their performance and help them create local solutions for local needs. It offers development programmes for councillors and managers to enhance leadership, courses to improve communication and it shares good practice across the sector. It also advises councils on improving customer service and value for money and promotes the development of local government's workforce.
