Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington

Extension now open

  • Six minutes from Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington
  • New trains now running
  • Trains run every seven to eight minutes from Dalston Junction to Highbury & Islington

Services now run from Highbury & Islington to Dalston Junction via Canonbury, linking London Overground with the Victoria line and the Richmond/Clapham Junction to Stratford branches of London Overground.

A full service opened on 28 February between Highbury & Islington/Dalston Junction and New Cross/Crystal Palace and West Croydon via the City, with Shoreditch High Street station just five minutes' walk from Liverpool Street and Bishopsgate and easier interchange at Canada Water to Jubilee line for Canary Wharf.

The extension has made travelling easier with cross-platform interchanges at Highbury & Islington and Canonbury. New trains have been added to the line and will run every seven to eight minutes between Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington.

The line is part of an orbital route around the Capital.
