Estate Rationalisation

Our professional advice teams help departments to achieve economies of scale. Savings accrue when OGC and departments work together to deliver cross-departmental workspace strategies based on the exploitation of government's collective bargaining strength.

By putting forward a comprehensive range of options and facilitating discussion, we can ensure that departments take strategic decisions in the full knowledge of the wider financial impact.

Collaborative Opportunities include:

  • identifying, promoting and brokering opportunities for interdepartmental estate rationalisation and co-location;
  • co-ordinating market opportunities through property events;
  • developing opportunities for and promoting strategic co-operation between central government organisations;
  • maintaining an up-to-date database of all central civil government property and future accommodation requirements (e-PIMS™).
