Combining strengths of NHS commissioning and local authorities

The new health and wellbeing boards will ‘provide us with an opportunity to bring together the strengths of NHS commissioning with the much wider influence the council has over a defined population’, says Sarah Price, Director of Public Health, London Borough of Islington and NHS Islington.

She was speaking at a conference on implementing the public health White Paper.
