Case study: Wyvern Health.Com

Led by a board of seven GPs, one Practice Manager and a General Manager, Wyvern Health.Com was set up to provide a corporate structure to enable practice based commissioning to operate effectively in Somerset. With a £576 million practice based commissioning budget, they cover 100 percent of Somerset’s population (approximately 530,000 people) with diverse levels of affluence and a high proportion of over-75s.
