The GA Annual Conference & Exhibition provides high quality CPD and networking opportunities for primary and secondary teachers, students and academics.

The programme includes lectures from subject specialists, hands-on workshops, teacher-to-teacher sessions, field visits, day-time receptions, evening events and the UK's largest exhibition of geographical resources.

Highlights of the 2011 programme include:

  • Hans Rosling, Director of the Gapminder Foundation will present the Keynote Address on Saturday 16 April
  • Mike Parker, Map Addict author presents the Public Lecture on Thursday 14 April
  • A full-day field visit to the London Olympics site
  • Google Earth beginner and advanced IT workshops
  • A series of workshops on primary physical geography

You'll also get the chance to meet staff from the RGS-IBG at Stands 60 and 66 in the exhibition hall.
