CRC118 – Rural Advocate report 2010

Over the last two years our chair and the Government’s Rural Advocate, Dr Stuart Burgess, has visited rural communities across the country to listen to rural people about what matters most ─ the many benefits of rural living but also some real concerns.

His ‘Rural Advocate report 2010′ focuses on issues affecting children and young people living and working in rural England, outlining several issues affecting the sustainability of the countryside, substantiated with robust recommendations. The report also focuses on some examples of inspirational individuals who have overcome some of the challenges facing their communities.
