Background

  • As part of the special educational needs (SEN) Regional Hubs progression developments both Liverpool and the Wirral agreed to produce a simple assessment and moderation framework that would illustrate some key principles and guidance for use within the North West region.
  • Before the local authorities (LAs) undertook this work they decided to design a case study questionnaire to gather current assessment and moderation practice in the LAs.
