NHS Information Centre takes part in HSJ Webinar

On Thursday, 12 February 2009, The NHS Information Centre took part in a HSJ Webinar.

The online seminar, ‘Quality Information Assurance: An understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance', was a live 45 minute debate and discussion aimed at individuals looking to understand the information compliance issues of new national agendas for improvement.

The audience were able to pose questions to the experts, take part in live polls and ask for assurances that the public are safeguarded against failure in the information governance, compliance and risk processes.

Speakers at the event included; Professor Michael Thick, Chief Clinical Officer at NHS Connecting for Health; Clare Sanderson, Director of Information Governance at The NHS IC; and John Madsen, Data Quality Programme Manager for Standards and Classifications at The NHS IC.
