The Queen has been pleased to approve that the honour of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire be conferred upon Miss Kathryn Mary Thirlwall QC on her appointment as a Justice of the High Court.

The Queen has approved that Nicholas Thompson and Ms Deborah Dance, MSc, MRICS, FRSA, may be re- appointed as Members of the Churches Conservation Trust for a period of three years until 31 March 2013.

The Queen has approved the nomination of the Right Reverend Stephen Geoffrey Cottrell, BA, Suffragan Bishop of Reading, for election as Bishop of Chelmsford in succession to the Right Reverend John Warren Gladwin, MA, on his resignation on the 31st August 2009.
