2006 Nomination Form

A Royal Award for Individuals who develop and promote business enterprise

The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion (QAEP) celebrates and recognises the activities of individuals who have played an outstanding and significant role in promoting enterprise skills and attitudes in others in the UK.

Encouraging or facilitating the sort of skills and attitudes found in an enterprise environment - whether in a commercial business or a social enterprise - is the essence of 'Enterprise Promotion'.

Due to recent postal strikes, we know that some people have not received communications about the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion and may be having problems sending their nominations back to us.

For that reason we will accept nominations made online by 5pm on 4th November 2009, providing you have started your online entry before 2pm on 30th October 2009.

We will also accept hard copy nominations as long as we receive them before 5pm on 4th November.

Anyone can put forward nominees for the Award but you cannot nominate yourself.  Nomination forms can be completed and submitted electronically.  Alternatively, you can request a hard copy of the form to complete in manuscript from the Queen's Awards Mailing House (08705 134 486).

Awards will be announced on 21 April, The Queen's birthday, and successful nominees will be informed shortly before the announcement.  The names of those receiving the Award will be published in the London Gazette.  Recipients will receive an engraved crystal commemorative item and a Grant of Appointment and will be invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace in July the same year.
