Suffragan See of Birkenhead

The Queen has approved the nomination of the Reverend (Gordon) Keith Sinclair MA, to the Suffragan See of Birkenhead, in the Diocese of Chester, in succession to the Right Reverend David Andrew Urquhart BA, on his elevation to the See of Birmingham.

Keith Sinclair (aged 54) studied for the ordained ministry at Cranmer Hall. He served his curacy at Summerfield, Birmingham from 1984 to 1988. He was Vicar of St Peter and St Paul, Aston from 1988 to 2001 and Area Dean of Aston from 2000 to 2001. He was Honorary Canon of Birmingham Cathedral from 2000 to 2001. He has been Vicar of Holy Trinity, Coventry since 2001.

Keith Sinclair is married to Rosie, and they have three school age children. His interests include walking, watching films and being a sports fan.
