Service user associates project

The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement has been piloting a range of approaches to patient and public involvement in service improvement activity. One of these approaches involves working with service users as full members of research teams, known as service user associates, working alongside NHS Institute and clinical staff.

This short film documents the experiences of the Delivering Quality and Value programme at the NHS Institute, who involved service users in this way as part of their project on diabetes care.
