High Impact Actions

Supported by:      Leaders in Nursing   CPHVA and Unite   The Queens Nursing institute

Aims

This site is for nurses and midwives around the country to share examples of service changes they have made that have improved the quality of patient care, prevented harm and illness AND reduced costs.

The web site was open for submissions from 19th September until 12th October (it has been possible to put submissions on the site since this date but these have not been considered in the same depth as those submitted prior to 12th October). Since October 12th a wide spectrum of nurses and midwives from a variety of health sectors have helped determine those actions that have the biggest potential to make a huge difference across the whole of the service. The High Impact Actions for Nursing and Midwifery will be announced by Christine Beasley, Chief Nursing Officer of England at the Chief Nursing Officer's conference on 12th November.
