Job Summary

The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement supports the NHS to transform healthcare for patients and the public by rapidly developing and spreading new ways of working, new technology and world class leadership.

The NHS Institute is looking for an Associate to join the NHS Institute’s highly regarded “Productives” Series. The Series is designed to help the NHS staff to spend more time with patients in order to improve standards of care and patient safety and the first of the Productive Series, the Productive Ward, has been extremely successful attracting £50m of government funding to support wide implementation.

You will be focusing on the ongoing development of products and be responsible for managing a major programme of work. You will need to ensure effective and timely implementation of programme outcomes and that any service benefits are realised including the design and development of supporting training programmes. This is an exciting and evolving role, which has huge impact on service improvement in the NHS.

You will be educated to Master degree or equivalent in an area relevant to health services management and improvement and have strong experience of working at managerial level. You will also have specialist knowledge in large scale systemic change and have advanced knowledge in system improvement methodologies including LEAN, operational logistics and Six Sigma.

Interviews will be held on 10th September in Coventry
