Find out about the London summit

12 February 2009

The new website for the London summit is packed with information about the international event, scheduled for April 2.

The summit is a follow-up to the G20 meeting (new window) held in Washington, DC, last November.

The London event will bring together economic leaders from around the world, as well as executives from major banks and financial corporations.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown recently said that the summit will have three priorities:

  • to work together to improve the international economy
  • to reform and improve the financial sector
  • to agree rules for reforming international financial organisations, including the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank
