Cockleshell Youth Groups
The Centre has two youth groups that meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings 6pm till 8pm. Monday evening is for the younger age group, 5yrs to 11yrs. This group is very busy with 25 attending most weeks. So if you have a youngster at home and they would like to come along, maybe make new friends or catch up with school friends out of school, please bring them along. All the usual youth group activities including tuck shop, art and craft and whatever the young people fancy 'having a go at' are available. Once again volunteers are always welcome.
Tuesday evening is the time for our older young people to meet. This group decides and plans the majority of their own activities. The emphasis is on fun with time out to chat and relax, often something that young people do not have time to do these days with the demands of schoolwork. We are a welcoming group and would love new faces, so come and give us a try.
