Culdrose Community Centre was opened by HRH Prince Michael of Kent in August 1995. It is a purpose built facility, designed to provide resources and events for the local community. It hosts recreational and educational sessions, and is available to hire for private functions by service families and MOD personnel at very competitive rates.

Many events take place at the Community Centre including Brownies, Youth Club, Slimming Clubs and Parents & Tots sessions on Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons. Tod-Lins is Music and singing for 6 months to two years.

Gemma Raby, the local NPFS Community Worker, manages the Centre. Her role as a Community Worker is wide and varied, but a large portion of her time is used to encourage, provide, co-ordinate and support community services and activities.

Gemma is always keen to hear ideas for new groups or classes and can be contacted at the Centre on 01326 565132. You are welcome to drop in for a chat.

There is a Pre School with excellent facilities.

FREE Class at Culdrose Community Centre:

Is life getting on top of you?  Do work or home life issues make you feel stressed?  At any time, one in six people in the UK have a problem with stress and more people seek help from their GP with the symptoms of stress than any other problem.

Stress Control is a FREE six session class designed to help people learn how to tackle these issues themselves.

For more information on these and other events, please contact the Community Development Worker on Phone Icon  6100 or Culdrose 565132

How Does The NHS Work For You?

Does having a partner or family member in the armed forces have an effect on your ability to get high quality Health Services?

Do you have ideas of how the NHS might be made to work better for you?

Have you had an experience – good or not so good – that you would like to tell us about?

If so, please join us for a coffee and a chat on Wednesday 17th September, when representatives from Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Primary Care Trust (PCT) will be at the Community Centre from 1000 until 1200.
