Royal Fleet Club
The Royal Fleet Club maintains its charitable status in support of service personnel at Devonport and has evolved such that it now operates as a 50 bedroom hotel open to the general public. It is located in Devonport, Plymouth with strong Naval links, history and tradition remaining in place.
It boasts two ballrooms, spacious public rooms, an elegant residents lounge, a restaurant serving breakfast and evening meals and several bars. There are bedrooms to suit all requirements, these include Single, Double, Twin and Family rooms which are all en-suite with televisions and tea & coffee making facilities.
As an accommodation facility for service persons, their families, affiliates and the general public, it is capable of hosting small and large functions alike.

Formed in 1972 the Royal Naval Philatelic Society meets the needs of philatelic enthusiasts around the world who enjoy an interest in naval history. The Royal Naval Philatelic Society (RNPS) is the officially accredited philatelic society for the Royal Navy. It has an Admiral President and is based in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, of which it is part. The Chairman is a serving member of the RN/RM. The Royal Naval Pipers' Society (RNPS) was founded in 1951 to promote the music of the great highland bagpipe and small pipes for the benefit of the Royal Navy and associated organisations. The Society encourages anyone in the Royal Navy or associated organisations who wishes to learn to play the pipes, or to improve their performance, to join and thereby keep in touch with one another with a view to pursuing this interest to the best advantage. Set up over forty years ago by Lord Mountbatten to provide help and advice to all RN/RM and RNR/RMR personnel and their families. It is a source of free and unbiased help on all matters of personal finance.
