Royal Naval Pre-Schools in the South West Area
There are RN pre-schools in throughout this area, serving both families of service personnel and children in their local areas. They provide secure, stimulating environments for children. They are all Ofsted inspected with all receiving excellent results.

Families And Friends of Deployed Units (FAFDU)
Families And Friends of Deployed Units (FAFDU) is a Plymouth based informal group which offers families and friends of a deployed loved one, an opportunity to meet others in similar circumstances on a regular basis for a variety of social events and get-togethers.

RN Police (Western Area)
The RN Police (RNP) exists to support the Military Criminal Justice System. Additionally RNP provide some support to Service Dependants living in Service Family Accommodation Estates in Plymouth, geared to improving quality of life on the ‘patches’ particularly in the areas of addressing anti social behavior and crime reduction, co-ordinating with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and the Ministry of Defence Police.

Ministry of Defence Police (Western Area)
The Ministry of Defence Police employs a Unit Beat Officer (UBO) who is assigned to the Service Families Accommodation Estates in Plymouth.
Constable Karl Cowling presently fills this position.
The MOD Police and the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary Area Beat Officers work closely together, sharing information as well as offices.

The Anchor Support Group
The Anchor Support Group exists to offer support to Service and Ex-Service Families with a Child with a Disability or Special Needs, in Plymouth and surrounding areas.
