Royal Marines Emergency Contact Information

Contact details
The nature of your emergency and location of the serving relative will dictate who you need to contact.

If circumstances should arise whilst your relative is overseas on a draft or deployment or on a ship out of local waters, that makes it necessary for you to apply for his return home on compassionate grounds, such as death in the family, serious illness or a serious family crisis, you should contact:

The JCCC is continually staffed 24 hours a day, including weekends and Bank holidays.

If the relative is not overseas then you should contact Royal Marines Welfare as indicated below:

  • Royal Marines Welfare is unit based, and there are offices at every main Royal Marines establishment. The link below will give you the correct contact details.

  • The offices are normally manned during office hours, however there is always a duty Welfare worker on call 24 hours a day for urgent enquiries.

  • If the office is not manned an answer phone will be available for you to leave a message. There will also be instructions as to what to do in the case of an urgent enquiry.

When following these instructions please ensure that you are telephoning on a Welfare matter and reveal the degree of urgency. (You will need to have the Royal Marine's service details available, and where appropriate, the name and telephone number of the Doctor or Hospital involved).
