Arbroath (population 25,000) is the largest town in Angus and the home of the famous Abbey which was founded in 1178 and where in 1320 the Declaration of Scottish Independence was signed.
Arbroath has a working port and a picturesque Harbour, which is an attractive focal point for the town and where you can purchase the famous 'Arbroath Smokie'.
Arbroath has a long established reputation as a holiday resort with fine sands, leisure facilities and the annual Sea Fest, which is a three day celebration of the town's maritime heritage.
Much of the attraction of living in Arbroath is the surrounding countryside of Angus, which contains some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. The Glens of Clova, Islan and Prosen are quite superb and are easily accessible.
We are in easy reach of the major shopping experiences of Dundee and Aberdeen, with Edinburgh and Glasgow only a couple of hours away.
