QHM Plymouth

Water Events

The aim of the Water Events Diary (WED) is to minimise interference between activities within the Dockyard Port of Plymouth and to facilitate all water borne activities, be they be undertaken by service, commercial or private users, to be conducted safely.

The WED is published annually in late November and regularly updated thereafter.  Any organisation/ individual planning on conducting an event afloat should initially pass details to QHM at Longroom House (QHM Facility Manager x 836914).

Day to day control and co-ordination of water activities is exercised by the two Port Control Stations; Flag Port Control north of Rubble Buoy and Longroom for the Sound, Cattewater and Narrows.  The appropriate station should be made aware of what activity is intended, where and when.
