The Royal Navy Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club (RNHPC)

The Royal Navy Hang Gliding and Paragliding Club (RNHPC) is an excellent facility open to all serving members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Navy Reserves.

The Royal Navy Club competes in a number of service and civilian competitions and for the second year in a row the club are the Inter-Service hang gliding champions. The club also travels to Europe every year to fly in alpine conditions where it is not unusual to fly at heights of greater than 10,000ft and for distances over 50km.

Hang Gliding and Paragliding allows an individual to experience the most natural and purest form of flying and with places that permit flying all over the country including sites within twenty minutes of Portsmouth and Plymouth, it is probably the most accessible and cheapest form of flying too.
