Credibility of Evidence

Process 4.jpgThere are two key elements, which will help you demonstrate the evidence and benefits for this change. The first is identifying the benefits and the second is being able to effectively communicate the evidence.

What is it all about?

Ensuring that there is evidence that the change will produce benefits that are obvious to all key stakeholders.

Why is it important?

Evidence of benefits above and beyond those gained through the existing process will give people reason to support, accept and participate in the change.

How do we get it?

  • Illustrate the differences between the existing and new process.
  • Identify the benefits for patients, staff and the organisation.
  • Communicate those benefits in a way that meets the needs of these different audiences.
